About the project, our role, our approach

The introduction

Seema is the personal studio of an interior designer. The signature-style wordmark over a soft, watercolour texture positions the work as personal and tactile.

Mohammed Vaseeuddin was asked to build a calm, refined identity that puts the designer's hand and taste at the centre.

Refine the mark

Refine the handwritten wordmark into a dependable signature mark.

Set the language

Define a quiet, material-led visual language.

Find the voice

Establish a warm, assured studio voice.

Ready the system

Set colour and type for proposals, boards and social.

  1. 01Discovery: understand the studio's projects, clientele and aesthetic signature.
  2. 02Essence: define what a 'Seema' space feels like.
  3. 03System: signature lockup, palette, type and templates for proposals and mood boards.

History and heritage

Brand origin story

Seema means 'boundary' or 'edge', the line that turns empty space into a considered room. The studio is named for the designer herself, and the handwritten mark keeps that personal promise visible: every project is signed, not stamped. The soft grey-green wash beneath it sets the studio's quiet, material temperament from the first glance.

The struggle

As an interior design studio, our portfolio is our product. Our previous branding was too loud and competed visually with the actual spaces we were trying to showcase to high-net-worth clients.

The evaluation

We needed a highly refined, minimalist brand identity that established our premium pedigree but knew how to step back and let the interior photography take center stage.

The execution

The brand strategy was a lesson in elegant restraint. The typography, color palette, and layout guidelines were impeccably designed to frame our work rather than distract from it.

The result

We received a flawless, sophisticated identity that perfectly matched the caliber of our design services. It elevated our entire studio presence, allowing us to attract and secure top-tier luxury residential projects.
